Gradle Tasks and Properties

This page lists the Gradle tasks and properties of maintenance work. All tasks belong to the group feature model, so ./gradlew tasks --group "feature model" lists them with a short description.

Use -q with the tasks that print key-value lines, such as the preflight or the snapshot validation, to see only their output.

Properties

Pass a property with -P<name>=<value>. You can set personal defaults in ~/.gradle/gradle.properties.

Two more uses matter for maintenance: -PartemisPath on ./gradlew test enables the smoke test against a real Artemis checkout, and -PskipFrontendBuild=true makes bootJar reuse an existing client build.
